Who on my team gets to submit the film in their name?
The writer and/or director should submit the film. Remember, if you include a short credit roll at the end of your film, the whole team still gets credit for their work.
What if I don't have a whale or dolphin handy to star in my short film ?
Most people don't know any whales or dolphins! Read our Guidelines for some reassurance on this one. In any event, we don't want anyone illegally approaching and potentially harassing any dolphins or whales to make their short films! Your film will not be disadvantaged if there are no real dolphins or whales in it.
What if I want my film to have non-English language content?
That's great! The contest is international and we welcome submissions from anywhere on our Ocean Planet. However we require that any foreign language content be subtitled in English. Most editing software packages have tools for subtitling.
